Kara and Jeff are definitely a stylish couple and I knew their wedding at Hardy Farm would be a great one. They both work in the design industry and Jeff collects vintage Mamiya cameras… really what else needs to be said! Well, I was right and A Family Affair really turned on the magic and turned Hardy Farm into a wonderland of fresh evergreens and glowing lanterns.
The day started at The Little Chatham Lodge where the gentlemen were getting ready. They all had a vintage flair going with their grey and black suits and pink ties. After some drinks and photos I was soon back at the farm photographing the bridal party as they prepped for the day. Kara’s two piece dress was stunning and check out those unusual wedding and engagement rings. Kara and Jeff had a first look in the barn surrounded by their family and friends. It was gorgeous and her expression as she made her way to see Jeff was priceless. Soon they were to meet again, this time down the aisle.
The ambiance during dinner was simply exquisite. Fairy lights and lanterns filled the room with a glow as the jazz band played over the party as they enjoyed a delightful meal. The dance party was put on by Kara and Jeff as they were the MC’s and had a premade soundtrack for the night. I’ll admit, I was slightly nervous not seeing a DJ but they had that barn rock’in all night long. They knew their crowd like no DJ ever could and I was impressed for sure! Congratulations to Kara and Jeff!
