I first met Danielle and Andrew at Danielle’s’ christmas tree farm for their engagement session. It was New Year’s Day and about 6 degrees, quite the contrast from their beautiful coastal wedding day in September. They wanted a cozy, fun wedding with their family and friends and booked the Black Point Inn for nuptials on the lawn and then party after. Danielle sent me her answers to my online questionnaire which, under the special considerations area, had that Andrew wanted some images with one of his cars. I was intrigued and wondered which car this could be as I know he had a sweet Audi and pickup truck. And then as I pulled in the the Black Point Inn there it was on the lawn… up it was a Porsche. Perfect!
Their wedding overlooked the estuary that forms Ferry Beach, one of the few areas where the sun sets over the water. Clouds and mist rolled through the area throughout the day making the lighting fluctuate between dramatic and flat. Their intimate ceremony was followed by family photos on the grounds and then cocktails. After dinner is when the party started in the main ballroom at the inn. The playlist was all Andrews as the night progressed and venue changed into full on dance mode. We made it outside to be sure the Porsche was documented too!
