It was a 6am wake up for this engagement photo session at Higgins Beach in Maine. Melissa contacted me and was hoping to have a 50's pin-up styled e-session. She even sent me a style-me-pretty link with a idea for using a bench, umbrella and picnic theme and had all of these props ready to go. I just love creative sets and couldn't have been more pleased to photograph their session! So here went my early morning suggestion. This hour of light is ideal for making great images as well as offering more privacy as the sun rises over the ocean. It worked out amazingly with vacant beach and golden sun was perfect in setting the stage and mood for the photography to come. Here is one of my favorites from the engagement session.
